Kristin Luck is a serial marketing technology and services entrepreneur with three private equity backed exits. She is known for building innovative technology led companies that scale quickly through non-traditional sales and marketing techniques.
Kristin currently serves as an advisor and growth strategist to a slew of cutting-edge marketing and analytics technology and services firms through her growth strategy and M&A advisory firm, ScaleHouse. She is a founder focused on helping fellow founders and executive teams scale and monetize their businesses and works frequently with firms in international markets to execute their entry into the U.S. Kristin is also a licensed investment banker with Oberon Securities where her deal expertise comes from participating in both acquisitions and exits valued from $30M to $225M.
Prior to her work at ScaleHouse, she co-founded OTX, an online research business that was named the fastest growing research firm in the world in 2002 and 2003 ($0-$30M in three years) and was subsequently acquired by Zlenick Media Group and Pilot Group in 2005 and again by Ipsos in 2010. She then founded Forefront Consulting Group; a research technology firm that was acquired by Decipher. Decipher was acquired by FocusVision/Thompson Street Advisors in 2014 after seven consecutive years of double- and triple-digit growth. FocusVision was acquired by EQT and merged with Confirmit in 2021 to become Forsta, where she sits on the Board of Directors. Forsta was acquired in March, 2022 by Press Ganey.
Kristin has consistently driven triple digit YOY performance improvement for leading research tech and services firms including The Harris Poll, mTab and Forsta. Her experience also extends to the martech and adtech verticals where she’s an advisor to DaaS firm eCommerce Insights AI, next gen media measurement firm, Hyphametrics, and Dstillery, where she assisted in developing the evolution of their custom audience profiling business (combining behavioral data with ad targeting and digital activation). Kristin has also served as a keynote speaker and panelist at Web Summit in 2018, 2019 and 2021 on subjects ranging from zero-party data analytics, bespoke identity solutions for advertisers (in our soon to be “cookieless” world), and global data privacy and consumer protection.
Her work has been recognized in both the commercial (Fast Company, Forbes) and academic press (Research World, Journal of Brand Strategy) where she explores emerging marketing and growth strategy trends. She is consistently ranked as one of the top 100 sales and branding experts to follow on social media.
She earned a BS in Journalism from the University of Oregon.
