Alex Baranpuria is President of Ivy Exec, a global expert network and B2B insights platform connecting organizations with hard-to-reach professionals, executives, and industry experts. Over more than 17 years with Ivy Exec, Alex has played a central role in the company’s evolution from an online career development platform into a leading expert network and trusted research partner serving more than 300 clients across market research, consulting, technology, financial services, and corporate insights.
Alex led Ivy Exec’s expansion into the market research industry in 2014, building what has become a core growth area for the company. As President, he leads Ivy Exec’s next phase of growth, with a focus on strengthening strategic client partnerships, expanding the company’s B2B qualitative research capabilities, and helping organizations access trusted, non-commoditized knowledge from C-suite executives, business decision-makers, technical experts, and other high-value professional audiences.
A strategist, entrepreneur, speaker, and board member, Alex brings deep expertise across market research, insights, analytics, expert networks, and specialized audience recruitment. His work sits at the intersection of human expertise and emerging research technology, with a particular focus on how organizations can combine AI-enabled approaches with verified professional communities to generate faster, deeper, and more reliable insights.
Alex is an active contributor to the insights industry and has presented at a wide range of conferences and industry events, including ESOMAR, the Insights Association, IIEX, and QRCA, among others. He has also held industry leadership roles including Co-Chair of IA Ignite: B2B and Programme Committee Chair for ESOMAR’s North America Conference.
Alex graduated summa cum laude from Duke University with a BS in Biology and was named to the Dean’s List with Distinction. He is an alumnus of Teach For America and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Marketing Research Education Foundation.
