Renny Palumbo is an experienced sales leader with over 15 years sales experience, with the last 13 years focused on Sales leadership, team development, and sales divisions scaling for several companies. Renny’s specialties are growing sales teams, leadership training, comp plan design, sales operations, and building environments for salespeople to thrive. Renny’s passion for helping salespeople develop their careers, both short-term income as well as their long-term goals, is at the core Renny’s strategies while scaling a sales team.

Prior to joining InnovateMR, Renny was with Fiserv for 8 years, a Fortune 200 company that specialized in electronic payments for businesses. Throughout his tenure, Renny was promoted from Director of Sales to Vice President of Sales and ended his time with the company as Head of Sales and Partner Development. During this time, Renny led sales teams in Honolulu, Kansas City, and Chicago as well as fully remote teams. Renny helped to oversee the successful sales of CardConnect to Fiserv in 2017 for $750M, integrating the sales team from Bluepay in a subsequent acquisition, and increasing the ISV/software business for Fiserv 10x from $20 million to $200 million in 8 years.

Prior to Fiserv, Renny worked as a Sales Manager at Mercury payments helping to successfully scale and eventually sell to Vantiv in 2014 for $1.65B. As the youngest sales manager in the company’s history, Renny created roles such as activation specialist and grew the Spanish speaking channel significantly, helping to aggressively scale the business. Prior to mercury payments, Renny worked as a team lead/sales executive at Transfirst merchant services.

Originally from Venezuela, Renny moved to the United States at 12 years old and would later earn a degree in international affairs from the University of Colorado in Boulder. He started his sales career earning his real estate license at 18, selling his first house at 19, and selling over $3 million in real estate before graduating from college. He is a native Spanish speaker and avid sports fan, he attributes much of his innate leadership skills to a lifetime of being a point guard on the basketball court.
